I love American Idol. I don’t care who the judges were, I always loved the show. Never cared for Paula (As I stated in a recent show) but I loved almost every other Judge. I loved Kara Dioguardi, I’m on good terms with Jackson and Ellen, but my all time favorites have been Steven Tyler and JLO.
But now we have Nicki Minaj…desperate times call for desperate measures. Minaj is a very decorated artist and has been very successful in her career thus far, but she doesn’t belong in the judging seat of American Idol. WHAT HAS AMERICA(N IDOL) COME TO!?!?!

Before I completely judge American Idol, I will give them a chance to redeem themselves. This may turn out to be a great team. I mean, look at how diva + country star + CeeLo Green + rockstar turned out…..but I guess that only works when you have those specific people.
To say that I am extremely disappointed is an understatement. I think that with The Voice on the rise and The X Factor Season 2 doing amazing, American Idol is in fear of becoming no longer relevant.But to insult your remaining fans with Nicki Minaj is an Insult!
And didn’t they learn the first time that 4 people judging tables DO NOT WORK?
I call it now: This is the death of American Idol.
