Well, American Idol has proven to be a tool that you can use to really launch your career – even if you dont win (ask Chris Daughtry). Jessica Sanchez, who was so close to winning, has just gotten a role on Glee, according to Yahoo!

But Sanchez says cameras haven’t started rolling yet for her stint on the show. She admits, she doesn’t even know yet what part she’ll be playing. “Not yet. It’s still a mystery. But I’m very excited.”
Sanchez also shares how she won the plum gig. “They called me! I didn’t pass up on the opportunity.” She adds she’s a big fan of the show, which has also featured Filipino YouTube singing sensation, Charice.
