Popstar Camila Cabello has a lot to celebrate with her incredible debut album, Camila. In an interview with Billboard, Cabello said she had a song with Ed Sheeran that didn’t make her album.
She tells Billboard it was a difficult decision, adding:
“It’s like one of those weird things because I love him so much and he’s been one of my musical heroes and he knows that.
So it felt kinda weird, but at the end, it just didn’t fit sonically with the album, even though it’s such a great song, it just felt like the only one that felt like it was on another kind of album.”
Commentary: While I hope to hear the song someday, I am kind of glad that she didn’t release it on this record. Sheeran will go down as one of the modern day great popstars, but at the current moment, he’s a bit oversaturated. He has his duet with Taylor Swift on the Radio, a duet with Beyonce, and a feature on an Eminem song.
