“Eggo Waffles and Sugarlands Distilling Co. Introduce ‘Eggo Brunch in a Jar’ Liqueur Just in Time for National Waffle Day”

Eggo Waffles and Sugarlands Distilling Co., based in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, have teamed up to introduce a creative and innovative brunch-inspired liqueur just ahead of National Waffle Day. The unique collaboration has given birth to a new beverage called “Eggo Brunch in a Jar Appalachian Sippin’ Cream,” which draws its inspiration from the classic flavors of toasted Eggo waffles, sweet maple syrup, rich butter, and a hint of smoky bacon.

Kellogg’s, the parent company of Eggo Waffles and now headquartered in Chicago, announced this exciting venture in a press release. The delightful concoction is infused with 20% alcohol per volume, making it suitable for those aged 21 and above. The drink is designed to be enjoyed alongside Eggo waffles, adding a delightful twist to the traditional brunch experience.

National Waffle Day, set to take place on August 24, serves as the perfect occasion for the unveiling of this novel creation. Joe Beauprez, Senior Director of Marketing for Kellogg’s frozen foods, emphasized the drink’s role in providing parents with an opportunity to savor moments of relaxation amidst their busy lives. He stated, “Eggo Brunch in a Jar makes it easy for parents to kick back when they’re not caring for their little ones. So, whether parents want to punch up a weekend brunch or savor some of those classic brunch flavors during their downtime, this feel-good Eggo-inspired liqueur is the perfect treat.”

The partnership between Eggo Waffles and Sugarlands Distilling Co. is not new. In the previous year, the two companies collaborated on the creation of Eggo Nog Appalachian Sippin’ Cream, which added a unique twist to a beloved holiday beverage. This year’s Eggo Brunch in a Jar continues the trend of blending classic flavors with creative innovation.

Greg Eidam, Master Distiller at Sugarlands Distilling Co., expressed his enthusiasm for the project, noting, “Our distillery team crafted Eggo Brunch in a Jar to combine flavors of toasted Eggo waffles, rich maple syrup, and notes of creamy butter, with a savory hint of bacon in every sip.” He further emphasized the versatility of the beverage, suggesting it can be used to elevate weekend brunches or enjoyed as a classic cocktail during personal relaxation time.

The new Eggo Brunch in a Jar Appalachian Sippin’ Cream is now available at select retailers across the United States, inviting consumers to experience a delightful fusion of flavors that captures the essence of a brunch experience in a single sip.
