Remember that time Kanye West interrupted Taylor Swift during the VMA’s back in 2009 to say that Beyonce had the best video, not her?! Well, it’s been 4 years and it’s still in Kanye’s head.
Earlier this morning during an interview with Ryan Seacrest on 102.7 Kiis fm, Kanye stated that he did say the right thing. He does regret saying it in front of a live audience and award show, but he does not take back what he said.
Kanye also told Seacrest that he has tried to apologize to Taylor before she wrote a song about the incident. He also tried to get in contact with her team but they wouldn’t allow him.
While saying “You know what? I would not want some crazy drunk rock star cutting my daughter off also”, he later added “But my daughter would 100-percent also be like, ‘Yes Beyonce did have the best video.’ That’s what my daughter would do!”
Let’s see if the Taylor vs Kanye rivalry might start up again! Who knows, Taylor might be writing a new song for him now!
