One Direction‘s Louis Tomlinson has dropped a huge piece of news. In an exclusive interview with James Ingham of the “Daily Star,” Louis confirmed that the British boy band has been recording an album that “will be out before Christmas.”
It looks like the group has been up to quite a bit of multi-tasking, as Louis says that they started working on the new album “about a month ago” in their hotel rooms as the trek through the U.K. on tour.
Louis says that all five members have been involved in the writing process as well, adding that they are all “pretty shattered,” but “having a great time.”
One Direction’s past two albums Up All Night and Take Me Home both debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 in March and November of 2012, respectively.
The boys will make their way to the U.S. in June and their concert documentary “This Is Us” hits theaters in August.
