-A WORD ON X-FACTOR
X-Factor is a hard book to recommend because its most satisfying feature is the way it builds on the story that’s been told so far. This issue is a shining example of everything I love about X-Factor, but is it a good jumping-on point? Probably not. Sure the little comedy moments will still hit, but there are 11 characters involved here and very little explanation of who they are, what they can do, or why you should care. Would you keep reading a book where a gay man’s teammates tell him that he’s not the father of his unborn child because a wolf god told them so?
