Grammy-winning producer Pharrell Williams is going “live from New York” for his solo debut on “Saturday Night Live.”
On Wednesday, NBC announced that Pharrell will take the stage on April 5th. He will likely perform hits from his second solo venture, G I R L, which arrived earlier this month. The album debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 chart after selling 112,000 copies in its first week. Sales were propelled by his hit single “Happy,” which is currently number one on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart.
As Pharrell provides the musical entertainment, actress Anna Kendrick will serve as the night’s host. This will be her first time hosting the show.
