USA network has a few shows that, for me, are must watch TV. White Collar and Suits are two examples of those. And not to long ago, I was talking about White Collar becoming stale, and things changed over there and now I am sad that they are letting the show end next season.
Here we are now. Well into the third season of Suits. The show is about a fake lawyer working in a real legal firm with real lawyers. Those real lawyers will do anything to protect that fake lawyer. All and all, its becoming a cycle of the same old show.
It seems like the story that Suits is going with is that similar to that of White Collar. You have a crooked member on the team constantly getting into trouble. You have a straight guy (or close to straight in the case of Suits) covering up for the crooked guy. And at the end of the day, the good guy goes down with the crooked guy.
Mike Ross played by Patrick J. Adams is the fake lawyer who in episode 16 of season 3 was taken in for questioning about a potential fraudulent case that he came up with. Ross got the blessing from his mentor and straight man Harvey Spector played by Gabriel Macht. In the end of the day, the one they wanted was Spector and they will get him.
But for me, it comes to the point where I am seeing the same story play out. I guess I should pay attention to the smaller things…..like will Louis ever find love?
