Ed Piskor is very good at biographical comics. Wizzywig and Hip-Hop Family Tree were phenomenal reads, so finding out that he had an X-Men comic out was a bit of a shock. And it was merely okay! It turns out using a biographical style of storytelling isn’t the best way to tell superhero stories! So this was an interesting oddity, and I may seek out the trade when it’s all said and done because it’s still a novel way to get all this X-Men history, but this is a pass for buying future single issues.
