Tonight was the first elimination night for the Live Playoffs!
I am very sorry to say that with the teams being cut in half, it was going to happen that at least one of the artists you have grown to love was eliminated tonight…

If you do not want to know who was eliminated tonight, this is your chance to make the decision and continue on watching the show, however, if you would like those spoilers, then continue on.

In order to make this less confusing, we will list who was saved and who was eliminated by the teams.

First up from Team Gwen, Jeffery Austin and Braiden Sunshine were saved by the viewers.
Then Gwen was left with the decision to save either Korin Bukowski, Viktor Kiraly, Regina Love, and Ellie Lawrence.
Of all those lovely singers, she chose to save Korin Bukowski, which on an overall scale is understandable. However, Viktor and Regina were two favorites, so I am sad to see them go.

From Team Blake, Barrett Baber and Zach Seabugh (YES!) were saved by the viewers.
Leaving Emily Ann Roberts, Nadjah Nicole, Ivonne Acero, and Morgan Frazier.
Personally, I would have chosen Morgan Frazier, but Blake decides to save Emily Ann Roberts, who actually charted really high on iTunes last night.

Team Pharrell’s, Madi Davis and Evan McKeel (another favorite), were saved by America.
That left the tough decision for Pharrell to make between Mark Hood, Darius Scott, Celeste Betton, and Riley Biederer (favorite).
Pharrell decided to go with Mark Hood, and it makes sense in Pharrell’s head.
He team was very good this year, so I’m sure this was a tough decision for him.

Last but not least, Team Adam.
Jordan Smith and Shelby Brown were saved by America.
That left Adam to decide between Amy Vachal (favorite), Blaine Mitchell, Keith Semple, and Chance Pena.
Adam decided to keep Amy Vachal, which is no surprise.

Overall, going from the ‘Top 20’ to the ‘Top 12’ is kind of crazy. Each team was cut in half and the coaches were forced to get rid of some of their best performers.
