A tribute to Bob Saget is coming to Netflix

Netflix has picked up the rights to an event that was thrown as a tribute to Bob Saget, Fox News reports.

According to Mike Binder, a close friend of Saget, the tribute was filmed and will be hitting Netflix in June.

“We filmed it and I showed it to Netfix and I said, ‘Look at this.’ 15 minutes…The Head of Comedy said, ‘This is remarkable,’ and they bought it as a special. It airs the first week of June,” Binder said on the Dystopia Tonight! with John Poveromo podcast.

Before the special airs on Netflix, it will be screened during the Netflix is a Joke festival.

The tribute show took place at the legendary Comedy Store. John Stamos, John Mayer, and others were there and performed.

Saget tragically died in his hotel room in January.
