AirBNB bans summer parties

AirBNB has reinstated a party ban, Fox News reports.

The company announced last week that they are implementing strict rules against throwing parties on properties listed on their service. These rules have been enacted in 2020 and during the July 4th holiday in 2021.

According to the report, the company will not allow certain one-night and two-night reservation for full home listings.

“Therefore, we’re building on this success and re-instituting these strict anti-party measures for the 4th of July 2022. And, for this year, we’re expanding this anti-party system to include Memorial Day weekend for the very first time,” AirBNB said in a statement.

Guests who are able to get around any restrictions and violate the no party rule could face legal actions.
